We have worked on a range of commercial projects, from small bespoke ventures to large corporate sites. As with many commercial sites, the scaffolding is the face of the project for lengthy periods of time – We therefore ensure that all of our work sites remain clean, tidy and safety which is our ultimate priority.

We are committed to providing an outstanding service from start to finish. All of our employees are fully trained and hold the relevant competency certification, also the majority of our scaffolders hold PTS cards and have much experience working on track-based sites allowing us to provided various scaffold solutions in multiple aspects of the construction industry.

CCS are fully subscribed members of MATES IN MIND to help the construction industry raise awareness and understanding of mental health and mental ill health.

Mates in Mind was established by the Health in Construction Leadership Group (HCLG) with the support of the British Safety Council in September 2016. Mates in Mind is a registered charity operating in the UK. The concept of Mates in Mind was launched at the end of January 2017 at the HCLG’s 2nd Construction Summit. Mates in mind aims to provide clear information to employers on available support and guidance on mental health, mental illness and mental wellbeing, and how they can address this within their organisations.

What we do
Mates in Mind is not looking to reinvent the wheel. It helps to make sense of available options and provides support to employers. It does so in partnership with leading charities and organisations such as Mind, Samaritans and Mental Health First Aid England.

Our vision – there is no health without mental health

Mates in Mind aims to

  • Raise awareness and understanding of mental health and mental ill-health.
  • Help people to understand how, when and where to get support.
  • Break the silence and stigma through promoting cultures of positive wellbeing throughout the industry.

Mates in Mind has an ambitious goal – to reach 100,000 workers in the first year, and by 2025, Mates in Mind aims to have reached 75% of the construction industry.
We recognise that one of our biggest challenges will be in reaching small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) – but by working collaboratively through supply chains and with trade bodies, we are confident that we will be able to achieve our aims and success will be shared by all.
