At CCS Scaffolding, safety is at the heart of everything we do. As a leading NASC-accredited scaffold company in the UK, we are fully committed to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety in every aspect of our operations, from start to finish.
Our dedication to safety is built on the following principles:
Compliance and Beyond
We adhere to all relevant UK regulations, including the Work at Height Regulations 2005, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and NASC guidelines. However, we don’t stop there. We continuously review and exceed industry standards to ensure the safety of our team, clients, and the public.
Qualified and Trained Workforce
We invest in regular training to keep our team up to date with the latest safety practices and techniques. All our employees hold Construction Industry Scaffolders Accreditation Scheme (CISRS) qualifications and SEQOHS-accredited Safety Critical Medicals. Further training includes Sentinel, First Aid at Work, and MHFA. Our supervisors and managers are supported in obtaining CISRS SMSTS-equivalent qualifications, CITB Temporary Works (TWSTC/TWCTC), and Level 6 Construction NVQs.
Risk Assessment and Planning
Each project undergoes a thorough risk assessment to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks effectively. Our detailed planning process ensures that we approach each job with the foresight needed to maintain a safe work environment for everyone involved.
Culture of Safety and Accountability
Safety is a shared responsibility at CCS Scaffolding, and we foster a culture where safety is everyone’s priority. We encourage open communication and accountability at all levels of the organisation. Our team is empowered to speak up about potential safety concerns, and we promptly address any issues raised.
Continuous Improvement
Safety standards evolve, and so do we. Through regular audits, feedback, and industry engagement, we continually refine our practices, integrating new insights and innovations to enhance safety.
