CCS have been working for Skanska on behalf of Network Rail at Waterloo Station. The upgrades are part of the £400m Wessex Capacity Alliance (WCA) Programme, which will increase train and passenger capacity at London’s busiest station. CCS Scaffolding Ltd is involved with all aspects of the WCA programme including:
- Access and edge protection for all of the demolition works related to platforms 20-24
- Design and erection of non-TG20 conforming scaffolds
- Load bearing crash decks for demolition
- Moveable tent enclosures for Hydro-demolition and related alterations
- Staircases for site access (system/tube & fitting)
- Access and edge protection for the extension of the existing platforms 1-4
- Layher system temporary roofs
